Community Board 7 is asking for donations of new clothing and new toys for girls and boys up to age 12. For the 27th year, the board is collecting new clothing and new
toys that will be donated during the holiday season to children in need.
Last year, individuals, community board members, and local businesses
donated about 1,000 toys to nearly 300 children. Local
not-for-profits--Women's Survival Space, Project Reach Youth, Turning
Point and Holy Name Church--distributed the toys.
Bring your donations to the Community Board 7 office Mondays through
Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., until Wednesday, December 17th. If it
isn't possible for you to get to the office during those hours, CB 7 can
make alternate arrangements.
The
