CLOSINGS AND WARNINGS UPDATED FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 27TH

Alternate side of the street parking is suspended today and tomorrow.

All New York City public schools will be open tomorrow. After-school activities will occur as scheduled.

New York City subway and bus service resumes today with limited service at 9:00 a.m. A full Sunday schedule will begin at noon.


The travel ban for all New York City roads is lifted as of 7:30 a.m. today. All residents are allowed to travel on New York City roadways.

All MTA and Port Authority Bridges and Tunnels reopened today. Roads are slick.

Port Authority bus service and PATH train service resume at 9:30 a.m. today.

Parks reopen at 11:00 a.m. today. Use caution. Paths can be slippery, snow cover can cover frozen lakes and bodies of water, and branches may have fallen. If you see a fallen branch, call 311.

These Brooklyn recreation centers will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today with limited staffing: St. John’s, Sunset Park, McCarren. All recreation centers will resume their regular schedules at 3:00 p.m. today.

MTA Long Island Railroad, Metro-North Railroad, and Staten Island Railroad resumed today with limited service, operating today on a Sunday schedule.

New Jersey Transit train service resumes today as of 10:00 a.m. New Jersey Transit bus service resumes today at 11:00 a.m. Trains and buses will operate on a weekend schedule.

Amtrak service will operate between New York and Albany. Amtrak Northeast Regional and Acela Express service will continue to operate on a reduced schedule between New York and Washington. Service remains suspended between New York and Boston.
