FREE COMPUTER CLASSES FOR SENIORS

Here's another example of the many ways in which libraries continue to be relevant in our lives: free computer classes for seniors at the Windsor Terrace branch of the Brooklyn Public Library.

Register for either
Computer Basics, offered every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
                          OR
Beyond the Basics, offered every Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

In the "Computer Basics" class, you'll learn the basics of how to operate a computer and navigate the Internet in ways that can enrich your life, including how to

  • use the mouse and the keyboard,
  • get on the Internet, and
  • use e-mail to stay in touch with family and friends.

The "Beyond the Basics" class will teach you to use the Internet as an everyday resource for entertainment, socialization, and life-management.

Classes begin on January 21st and end on March 18th.

No previous computer experience is required. All seniors are welcome to participate.

To reserve your spot in Computer Basics or Beyond the Basics or to get more information about the classes, call (718) 366-3038.
