STORY BOOKS COME TO LIFE IN "TWICE UPON A TIME"

"Twice upon a Time"
Saturday, February 6th, 10:30 a.m. to noon

Madeline Solomon of Music Garden Productions will perform her original puppet show/play "Twice Upon a Time" this Saturday at Willow Nest Studio in Windsor Terrace.

"Twice Upon a Time" is the tale of a little girl named Anushka, who struggles to fall asleep one moonlit night. While Anushka's mother becomes increasingly worn out, children will be delighted when they see Anushka's story books come to life and spring to her rescue.

Characters from the children's books "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," "Madeline," "Where the Wild Things Are," "Goodnight Moon," and "Goodnight Gorilla" unite to bring this musical play (accordion and cello) to life.

"Twice upon a Time" premiered in London in 2010.

Children will experience an interactive performance in an intimate setting. Following the performance, children and parents will be sharing in a creative arts workshop relating to one of the characters.

The play is suitable for children ages 0 to 7.

Tickets cost $14.71 each. Buy them through Eventbrite.

This is the first of many creative Theatrical Performances hosted by Willow Nest, an early childhood alternative space that is currently enrolling 2- to 5-year-old children in a range of programs.
